Genoa-Kingston was among the northern Illinois schools that received a total of $2,400 from Heartland Bank and Trust.
The program donated $1 for each free throw made at a high school varsity boys and girls basketball game during the regular and postseason.
“We strive to find ways to reach out to our local communities and give back," Jackie McGee, retail support manager, said in a statement. "Through our Score with Heartland Bank program we are able to financially support local schools and create additional excitement for each free throw made."
Donations this season were presented to schools including Genoa-Kingston, Hampshire and Huntley.
