In an effort to limit staff exposure and slow the spread of coronavirus, the DeKalb County Sheriff's office is making some changes.
The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office sent out a release Friday stating how the public safety building, 150 N. Main St., Sycamore, will be closed to the public without an appointment until further notice.
"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause as safety is our main concern," the release states.
Sheriff's personnel will perform essential services, the release states.
The DeKalb County Jail, 180 E. Exchange St., Sycamore, will remain open for bonding and inmate-related business without appointment since it is a secure facility.
