The Northwestern Medicine Ben Gordon Center will offer two free mental health first aid training programs – one for youth and one for adults.
Participants will learn about mental health and how to help youth ages 12 to 18 or an adult who may be experiencing a mental health problem.
Dr. Karyn Erkfritz-Gay will be the instructor for the youth program. It will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, April 6, at Northwestern Medicine Health and Wellness Center, 626 Bethany Road in DeKalb.
Kathy Lueken will lead the adult program from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at Five Season’s Room Community Outreach Building, 2500 N. Annie Glidden Road in DeKalb.
