SYCAMORE – First Midwest Bank donated $3,000 to support the Professional Development MicroGrant Program administered by the DeKalb County Nonprofit Partership, a program that is part of the DeKalb County Community Foundation, according to a foundation news release.

It’s the second consecutive year the bank provided funding for the program that supports training and professional development for nonprofit organizations in DeKalb County.

“Nonprofit organizations provide much-needed services throughout DeKalb County that help address the needs of our community,” said Mike Cullen, regional president of First Midwest Bank.

Grants of up to $250 are available through a competitive application process for the purpose of supporting professional development for member organizations for use in conference registration, webinars and customized training, according to the release.
