The DeKalb girls tennis team evened up it's record on the season with a sweep of Rochelle on the road Wednesday, 5-0.
Memorie Mobley was a winner at No. 1 singles (6-4, 6-3), while Nancy Leal won the other singles match in a marathon 7-6 (7-3), 4-6, 10-5 win.
Izi Myers Miller and Ashley Nelson (6-1, 6-3), Kayla Webb and Jayda Minniefield (6-3, 6-3) and Addie Lopez and Hoa Bo (6-3, 6-1) swept at doubles.
Sycamore sweeps at Freeport: The Spartans won, 7-0.
Megan Mcconnaughay rolled 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles, with Ella Sharp (6-1, 6-0 at No. 1) and Harmony Klassen (6-2, 6-1 at No. 2) notching wins at singles.
Alyssa Cooley and Abby Krull won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles, with Laramie O'Sullivan and Kyle Plagakis winning 6-0, 7-5 at No. 2. Kaitlyn Bernsten and Emma Hardin (6-0, 6-2 at No. 3) picked up a win, and Marie O'Brien and Anastacia Wolfe won 6-2, 7-6 (8) at No. 4.
DeKalb ties CLC: Both goal came within 4 minutes of each other as the Barbs tied Crystal Lake Central in DeKalb, 1-1.
Ilir Redzepi put the Barbs up with 28:11 left in the game, but the lead did last as a penalty kick tied the game with 24:51 remaining.
IC drops Little 10 opener: The Timberwolves lost at Earlville, 6-1.
The lone goal for the Timberwolves (5-2, 0-1) came on a penalty kick by Drew Gaston.
Logan Bend made 16 saves in the loss.
Indian Creek swept by Mendota: The Timberwolves lost, 25-15, 25-19.
Trysta Foster had eight digs and six kills, while Jesika Lowe had 12 digs for IC.
The Timberwolves head to Marquette on Thursday.
DeKalb golf gets another DVC win: The Barbs stayed perfect in conference, beating Metea Valley at Kishwaukee Country Club, 152-164.
Jack Paeglow was the medalist with a 36. Will Schimbke added a 37 and James Keck a 39.
Timberwolves win at Amboy: IC posted a 214-259 win at Shady Oaks.
R.J. McCoy was the medalist with a 46 for the Timberwolves.
G-K tops St. Edward: The Cogs won, 249-256.
Amber Fellows shot a 52 in the win.
Rosary defeats H-BR: Hinckley-Big Rock fell 105-165 in girls golf at Valley Green Golf Course in North Aurora.
Izzy Cleaveland's score of 48 led the Royals. Other scores for Hinkley-Big Rock came from Cassie Seaney (53), Sydney Razo-Ewan (52) and Ally Mills (53).
