Car enthusiasts Cruisin’ to Genoa

The Genoa Area Chamber of Commerce is planning its sixth annual Cruisin’ to Genoa car and motorcycle show from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday on Main Street in Genoa.

The family-friendly event will include food, music, raffles and activities throughout the day.

​Last year’s event had more than 1,000 visitors and 150 cars and motorcycles.

Trophies will be awarded to the winning entries in eight categories, including Best of Show, Top 20, Trucks Class, Kid’s Choice, Motorcycle Class, People’s Choice and Mayor’s Choice. More than 30 trophies will be awarded. Cars, motorcycles, trucks and tractors are welcome to participate.

Registration, for $10 a vehicle, is available in advance online at http://genoaareachamber.com/event/cruisin-to-genoa-car-show-3.

Onsite registration, for $15 a vehicle, starts at 10 a.m. Awards will be presented at 4:30 p.m.

The Chamber will continue the Roger Watson Tractor Show this year and the Roger’s Choice award will be presented to the family-selected tractor. There is no registration fee for tractor entries.
