Letters to the Editor

Just because God is silent does not mean he approves

To the Editor:

We are blessed with a local newspaper that has a purpose to bring us as much news as possible in a totally honest fashion, both local and national.

However, there are other news sources out there that bend the truth and also fail to share some worthy news reports that might let the "other side" look good.

For instance, there is great work being accomplished against human trafficking.

Too much precious time and money is also spent on minor requirements, and too many questionable decisions are being made any more.

As we treat our animals from dogs to chickens, giving them special help aids, God likely smiles down on us, but then he turns to look on our own piecemeal abortions, no holds barred, and he weeps. Our living god is the creator of all things including us. We didn't happen by happenstance.

And how is it possible that a young couple not knowing what to do would abandon their newborn baby and be charged as criminals while Planned Parenthood can do despicable things to a living newborn and gain a large amount of taxpayer money while doing so?

Is there anything wrong with this picture?

I'm grateful that we have a praying president and family that honos our living God. Because God is silent does not mean that God is dead, nor that he approves. We have a loving God who has great patience with us.
