Two years since Patricia and Robert Wilson were killed in their home, police still need public's help to find suspect
SYCAMORE – DNA science has helped police develop pictures of what the man could look like – the man who killed an elderly Sycamore woman and her adult son two years ago.
Police still do not know who is responsible for the brutal killings of Patricia Wilson, 85, and her son, Robert, 64, who were last heard from Aug. 14, 2016. Police say they were killed sometime that Sunday evening by a man who broke into their home at 16058 Old State Road. Investigators say the only thing of value the killer took from the home was Patricia Wilson's white Chevrolet Impala, which was found days later, legally parked near Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo, near where Route 64 ends.
