Sycamore author to speak at Printers Row Lit Fest

Sycamore writer Dirk Johnson has been selected among featured authors to speak at the Chicago Tribune Printers Row Lit Fest.

Johnson is co-author, with Robert Owen Carr, of the new book, “Working Class to College: The Promise and Peril Facing Blue-Collar America.”

A discussion with Johnson will be led by Jodi Cohen, a Tribune writer and former Illinois Journalist of the Year, at 4 p.m. June 10 at Jones College Prep, room 4038, 700 S. State St., Chicago.

“Working Class,” a nonfiction book, is distributed by the University of Illinois Press and can be purchased through Amazon. Ticket availability and other information about Lit Fest, a two-day literary extravaganza in downtown Chicago, is available at www.printersrowlitfest.org.
