DeKalb police release suspect sketch in robbery

DeKALB – DeKalb police have released a composite sketch of the man who robbed a delivery driver in DeKalb last week and are asking for the public’s help to identify him.

The suspect is described as a white male with hair past his ears in a bowl cut, approximately 6-feet to 6-feet-2-inches tall with a medium build. He also was wearing a black puffy jacket with light-colored stripes, the bulletin said.

Police say the man grabbed money out of a delivery driver’s jacket after rifling through her car Wednesday.

The victim was returning to her vehicle at 7:53 p.m. Wednesday after a delivery at an apartment at 820 N. Annie Glidden Road, DeKalb, when she saw a man going through her vehicle, police said.

The suspect exited the vehicle and grabbed an envelope with an undisclosed amount of cash from the woman’s jacket, according to police.

Police said the woman was not injured, but her jacket was ripped.

The suspect ran behind the apartments at 820 N. Annie Glidden Road, police said.
