Stratford Inn sells at auction for $1.053 million

SYCAMORE – The Stratford Inn in downtown Sycamore sold at public auction Thursday for $1.053 million. The winning bidder was National Bank & Trust Co., which until Thursday had yet to take possession of the property, even while it has been in foreclosure with the bank since December 2009. The opening bid of $1.053 million, made by an attorney for the bank, was uncontested.
