The Collins Dental Group is helping increase DeKalb County’s awareness of good oral health practices and habits during National Smile Month, May 20 through June 20. The public education campaign focuses on three key messages: brushing teeth twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste; regular dentist visits; and cutting back on sugary foods and drinks.
Annually the Board of Trustees of Oak Crest DeKalb Area Retirement Center recognizes and honors an individual in the community as a modern-day Good Samaritan. This award is presented to someone who has demonstrated his or her commitment to the community and to its people in any number of ways.
