DeKalb bowler Jessica Eberly averaged 203 for all 12 games to finish 34th of over 200 girls bowling at the state final tournament on Saturday at Cherry Bowl Lanes in Rockford. Teammate Alyssa Mershon averaged 194 for the finals and finished 60th in individuals competition.

Sycamore's Tony O'Donnell finished in 51st place at the boys state bowling tournament in O'Fallon. O'Donnell knocked down 2,434 pins for the state tournament, with a high game Saturday of 246.
