Norman the dog rides a bike

Posted on May 24, 2012 - 10:45 a.m.

The video's description says that Norman is a dog that can ride a bike.

Norman looks too big to be a dog to me.

(One of the videos' comments says, "See guys ... Chewbacca does exist," and that seems like a more accurate description to me.)

But still this is pretty impressive. Even if Norman is using training wheels.

Take your kids to see 'Bully'

Posted on April 18, 2012 - 12:35 p.m.

The documentary "Bully" was released last weekend following a long battle in the court of public opinion between the Motion Picture Association of America and Weinstein Co.

The MPAA initially rated the documentary 'R', for containing five instances of profanity. The ratings organization would not budge on the rating, despite the designation limiting the film's target audience from seeing the worthwhile film.

In the end, Weinstein Co. decided to sacrifice it's creative discretion and make three audio cuts, which have been described as 'minor.' However one powerful scene remains intact.

Locals will have an opportunity for a special viewing of this film.

Lane change worthy of the big screen

Posted on March 23, 2012 - 8:30 a.m.

Who knows why the camera was rolling, but it gave us this lane change you only see in the movies.

The red car on the left makes it safely through four lanes, while spinning 360 degrees.

I only wish the camera caught the driver's face when he stopped skidding on the right side of the road.

TNT mocks LeBron's hairline

Posted on March 14, 2012 - 10:30 a.m.

Ever since LeBron James used "The Decision" to announce his new team, it's been easy (and popular) to mock the Miami Heat forward.

"I'm taking my talents to South Beach" references and "The Decision" spoofs have become common.

Perhaps the best one was done by TNT. Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, Shaquille O'Neal, Ernie Johnson and the rest of the NBA pre-game show, Inside the NBA, did some investigative reporting to get to the bottom of LeBron's receding headline.

Inside the NBA did this about a month ago, but with the Heat visiting Chicago to take on the Bulls tonight, it seems appropriate.

There is no changing her mind: Mom's her favorite

Posted on March 9, 2012 - 12:12 p.m.

This video's creator, PowSound, is just a frustrated father who wants his baby daughter to say that he is is her favorite parent.

He does everything he can throughout the interrogation. He bribes her with food and a pony. But even when she admits dad's her favorite, she can't do it without lauging.

According to the video's creator, "What takes place is a ruthless contest of cunning and skill... with one of us clearly out of our league."
