MAC Freshman of the Year on the line Saturday?

When Ball State comes to DeKalb to play Northern Illinois at 2 p.m. Saturday, two the the top freshmen in the MAC will make one of their last claims for MAC Freshman of the Year.

NIU guard Mike DiNunno and Ball State forward Jarrod Jones have played above expectations this season, let's see how they stack up against each other right now.

Some other interesting statistics:

DiNunno's high game is 27 points, Jones' is 21. Jones has not attempted a three-pointer, DiNunno is 54-155 from three-point land.

At this point I think the statistics say it might be too close to call between the two. What do you think?
