Kish College’s ‘Months On End’ runs through Saturday
By DAILY CHRONICLE
Tickets are on sale for the Kishwaukee College production of “Months On End,” by Craig Pospisil.
“Months On End” follows a circle of friends and family with two of their number, Phoebe and Ben, engaged to be married. This comedy, first staged in 2002, consists of 12 scenes, one for each month of the year, and follows happiness and heartbreak as it shifts among the group. The strength of the work is in its depiction of each scene as almost a stand-alone vignette and yet the binding of the 12 scenes into a seamless whole.
The cast members for the production are Rick Andersen, Kate Busch, Megan Bussen, Ben Dougherty, Ethan Franklin, Keely Haag, Jessica Lang, Amanda Leady, DJ Nimerfroh, Kent Nusbaum, and Katie Rogers (understudy). The production is directed by Nadine Franklin, theater instructor at Kishwaukee College.
The production will be staged through Saturday, with curtain at 7:30 p.m., in the Kishwaukee College Theater, Room B-211. Tickets cost $8 for students, Kishwaukee College staff and senior citizens and $10 for the general public. Tickets are available at the Kishwaukee College Business Office, Room U-100, and also will be available at the door.
