Sycamore-Wheaton Academy game time
Ninth-seeded Sycamore (7-3) will host No. 16-seed Wheaton Academy (6-4) at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sycamore's Engh Community Field.
The Spartans won their first playoff game since 1985 with a 40-13 win over Kaneland Saturday night. They'll have a chance to add a second victory when they face the Warriors, who are playing in their first IHSA playoffs.
Sycamore's boys cross country team will be competing at the IHSA Class 2A state meet, running at noon on Saturday at Peoria's Detweiller Park. If the Spartans' volleyball team wins the Class 3A Rochelle Sectional this week, they would play in the Sterling Super-Sectional at 7 p.m. Saturday.
