The Kiwanis Club of Sycamore also sponsors a writing contest to choose the Junior Parade Marshals. The winners are rewarded with U.S. Savings Bonds and the opportunity to ride in the parade on the Kiwanis float. The flowers on the float are donated by Kar-Fre Flowers of Sycamore.
