Derrick and Maelissa Larson of Sycamore announce the birth of a daughter, Ella Lynn Larson, born Oct. 22, 2009, at Delnor Hospital, Geneva. She weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces, at birth, and was welcomed by brother, Asher, 2 1/2. Her grandparents are Margit Lundgren and Lynn Larson, both of Maple Park. Her great-grandparents are Edith Lundgren of Geneva and Verlette Larson of Shabbona.

Dan and Aleia Chambers of DeKalb announce the birth of a daughter, Kahlan Elizabeth Chambers, born Oct. 15, 2009, at Swedish American Hospital, Rockford. She weighed 5 pounds, 5 ounces, at birth. Her grandparents are Michael and Helen Becker of Kirkland and Alan and Mary Chambers of Kirkland. Her great-grandparents are Marjorie Marshall of Kirkland, Henry and Violet Becker of Genoa and Ralph and Vera Chambers of Shabbona.
