Indian Valley Theatre announces cast of ‘The Christmas Toyshop’

The curtain has barely come down on “Seussical: the Musical” and Indian Valley Theater is already gearing up for its holiday production of “The Christmas Toyshop,” set to hit the stage this December.
“The Christmas Toyshop” is a touching and humorous original story about the joyful excitement of the holiday season. Directed by Rich Bryan, the cast features a number of local actors, including Benji Higgins, Melinda McGraw-Carpenter, A.J. Thomas, Mackenzie Ikemire, Matt Frantzen, Adriana Resendiz, Antonio Defily, Justin Reints, Jordan Stahl, Samantha Collins, Sean File and Torie Pahle of Sandwich; Christopher Roe and Caitlyn Roe of Plano; Jim Oberg of Sheridan; Emily Swain of Ottawa; Brittany Watne of Waterman; and Hayley Sell of Oswego.
“The Christmas Toyshop” is a family-friendly holiday story about a village toyshop visited by a mysterious spirit who dances gracefully, but does not speak, and toys that come to life. This touching and humorous fantasy is filled with the enchantment and excitement of Christmas.
“The Christmas Toyshop” performances will be held Dec. 4-6 and Dec. 11-13 at the Sandwich Opera House. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. Reservations for this holiday production can be made by calling the Opera House Box Office at 815-786-2555.
