DeKalb City

Corina Mendenhall, 34, of the 1000 block of East Locust Street in DeKalb was charged Tuesday, Oct. 27, with retail theft and contributing to the delinquency of a child.

Mariano A. Herrera, 35, of the 700 block of North Fourth Street was charged Tuesday, Oct. 27, with allowing his dog to run at large.

Steven Schrauth, 51, of the 43W600 block of Midlothian Road in Elburn was arrested Wednesday, Oct. 28, on a Ogle County failure-to-appear warrant for production of marijuana plants.

Sycamore

Steven E. Garlands, 56, of DeKalb was charged Monday, Oct. 26, with illegal transportation of alcoholic liquor, driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Sheila S. Gosnell, 40, of Cortland was charged Tuesday, Oct. 27, with retail theft.
