Poe stories to be performed

Just in time for Halloween, Stagecoach Players will present a staged reading of selected Edgar Allen Poe works, as part of the DeKalb Public Library’s program, The Big Read.

The production includes performances of “The Raven,” “The Tell Tale Heart” and “The Bells.”

Curtain time is 7:30 p.m. today-Friday at Stagecoach Theater in DeKalb. Admission is free with a running time of approximately one hour.

The Big Read is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services and Arts Midwest.
