Weekend police reports

Editor’s note: Information in Police Briefs is obtained from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office and city police departments. Individuals listed in Police Briefs who have been charged with a crime have not been proved guilty in court.

DeKalb City

Marcela Gutierrez, 21, of the 800 block of North 14th Street in DeKalb, was charged Thursday, Oct. 15, with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Pamela M. Williams, 36, of the 900 block of South Sixth Street in DeKalb, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 15, on a failure-to-appear warrant for reckless driving. She was also charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Carl R. Andersen, 21, of Winfield, was arrested Friday, Oct. 16, on a warrant for two counts of domestic battery and theft.

Angel V. Bruce, 24, of the 1400 block of East 66th Street in Chicago, was arrested Friday, Oct. 16, on a failure-to-appear warrant for retail theft.

Quon J. Crockwell, 22, of the 700 block of West Florist Avenue in Milwaukee, Wis., was charged Friday, Oct. 16, with driving with a revoked license.

Jasmine L. Fowlers, 21, of the 800 block of Greenbrier Road, was charged Friday, Oct. 16, with driving with a suspended license.

Scott A. Gardner, 18, of St. Charles, was charged Friday, Oct. 16, with unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a person under 21.

Daniel R. Johnson, 34, of the 500 block of North First Street in DeKalb, was arrested Friday, Oct. 16, on a warrant for deceptive practices.

Jennifer M. Smith, 21, of the 400 block of West Evergreen Avenue in Chicago, was arrested Friday, Oct. 16, on a failure-to-appear warrant for having a disorderly house.

Kelsey G. White, 20, of the 700 block of Fotis Drive, was charged Friday, Oct. 16, with battery.

Michael J. Artabasy, 34, of the 1400 block of Twombly Road in DeKalb, was charged Saturday, Oct. 17, with two counts of driving under the influence and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.

Jeremy L. Fielder, 23, of the 200 block of West 155th Street in Harvey, was arrested Saturday, Oct. 17, on a failure-to-appear warrant for criminal trespass to a residence. He was also charged with unlawful possession of a class 4 controlled substance.

Robert G. Torres, 32, of the 200 block of Heatherfield Lane in DeKalb, was charged Saturday, Oct. 17, with two counts of domestic battery.

Olympia A. Barr, 22, of the 800 block of Russell Road in DeKalb, was charged Saturday, Oct. 17, with driving with a suspended license.

DeKalb County

Thomas A. Duff, 57, of the 500 block of Chestnut Street in Earlville, was charged Friday, Oct. 16, with driving with a suspended license.

Michael E. Johnson, 40, of the 400 block of East State Street in Sycamore, was arrested Friday, Oct. 16, on an unspecified failure-to-appear warrant.

Matthew A. Teare, 20, of the 400 block of North Sycamore Street in Hinckley, was charged Friday, Oct. 16, with driving with a suspended license and unlawful use of a weapon.

Lauren M. Mlady, 20, of the 2300 block of Eaves Circle West in DeKalb, was charged Saturday, Oct. 17, with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.

Jason A. Knudsen, 22, of the 200 block of West Pine Street in Cortland, was arrested Saturday, Oct. 17, on a warrant for violating an order of protection.

Derek J. Jones, 19, of the 400 block of Madison Street in Genoa, was arrested Saturday, Oct. 17, on a warrant for burglary to a motor vehicle.

Hector J. Morales, 37, of the 200 block of McMillan Court in Cortland, was arrested Saturday, Oct. 17, on a warrant for criminal damage to property and on a failure-to-appear warrant for driving with a revoked license.

Venica Cody, 23, of the 800 block of Russell Road in DeKalb, was charged Saturday, Oct. 17, with driving without a valid license and driving without insurance.

Matthew S. Bronner, 22, of Montgomery was charged Saturday, Oct. 17, with theft.
