Sycamore Park District offers classes

Sycamore Park District is offering two new classes: “Rubber Stamping 101” and “Belly Dance.”

“Rubber Stamping 101” will be held from 6:30-9 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Sycamore Park District Community Center, 138 N. Fair St. Debra Burgin of “Stampin Up” will show how to make a variety of unique creations with rubber stamps, ink and paper. All supplies are included. The cost of the program is $13 for residents and $18 for non-residents.

Sycamore Park District “Belly Dance” class for adults will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Fridays for six weeks, beginning Nov. 5, at the Sycamore High School Field House. Sandra Schramel will teach this Middle-Eastern dance style that develops grace and coordination with fun. This dance style also will educate the muscles to create good posture, muscle tone and inner peace. Cost is $37 for residents and $47 for non-residents.
