KC holds adult student workshop

Kishwaukee College host a workshop for area adults who are considering college.

The Adults Explore College Workshop will be held from 9:45 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 13 in the Kishwaukee College Conference Center, Room A-247. This workshop is offered free to participants; registration is required.

The Adults Explore College Workshop will include information on the variety of short-term training programs, career/occupational degrees and certificates and transfer degrees available at Kishwaukee College, as well as GED/high school equivalency preparation classes. Faculty and staff from the College will be available to explain the college process, including financial aid options. A panel of adult students will also discuss their experiences and answer questions.

The Adults Explore College Workshop will include lunch and a tour of Kishwaukee College. There will be limited child care available. Attendees also will have a chance to win a gift certificate for tuition to Kish College.
