Weekly grief support group offered at Salem

For many grieving people, Sunday can be the longest day of the week. While others may have church, family gatherings, sports activities or social events, those who have lost a loved one find this time difficult and lonely.

Salem Lutheran Church, 1145 DeKalb Ave. in Sycamore, is offering a weekly grief support group from 4-5:30 p.m. Sundays, beginning Oct. 18 and continuing through January.

The group will meet in Salem’s east wing Chapel Lounge, across the street from Culver’s restaurant.

Everyone is welcome to find a safe place to grieve and can come and go in the group as desired. More information is available at 815-895-9171.
