Bickley has taught at Huntley Middle School in DeKalb, Geneva Middle School in Geneva and at Kaneland Middle School. She earned her undergraduate degree in English Education from NIU and a master's in teaching from Aurora University.

“We are excited about the knowledge, enthusiasm, and middle school experience that Ms. Bickley brings to this position,” Sycamore Schools Superintendent Wayne Riesen said in a written statement. “She will also be a valuable addition to our outstanding leadership team at Sycamore Community Schools.”

Bickley said her family recently moved to Sycamore. Her daughter will be attending first grade at North Elementary School while her son will be in seventh grade at the middle school, according to the written statement.
