Group Hope changing schedule
Group Hope, which formerly met every Saturday, is beginning a new schedule, now meets from noon-1 p.m. the last Saturday of each month at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 511 Russell Road in DeKalb.

Group Hope offers a chance to learn more about depression and bipolar issues, a chance talk with others who understand and hear about others’ recovery, and relief from painful isolation.

These free support and discussion meetings are offered to Northern Illinois University students and DeKalb community residents. The church is within walking distance from Lucinda Avenue, student dorms and apartments and Holmes Student Center. Parking is available in the church lot off Russell Road.

Local facilitators are being sought to help keep this free service active. Volunteers especially sought are retired care providers and interested secondary consumers.

For information, contact at Dr. Charles Smith 815-398-9628 or  www.grouphope.org  or visit www.dbsalliance.org.
