Circle of Life necklace traveling in community

A “Circle of Life” story bead necklace created by local artists Allison Johnson and Lisa Kay is being displayed at several community locations through Sept. 19, according to a written statement, when it will be raffled off, with proceeds to benefit an art therapy program at the Kishwaukee Cancer Center.

The necklace will travel for display at Unique Concepts Salon on DeKalb Avenue in Sycamore, at Bliss Beads Gallery and Studio in downtown DeKalb, at the Art at Ellwood art fair Sunday in DeKalb, at the Kishwaukee Community Hospital gift shop, at the Kishwaukee Cancer Care Center, at Maurice’s clothing store on Sycamore Road in DeKalb and at the Sycamore Public Library.

Donations to enter the raffle are being accepted at Unique Concepts and at Bliss Beads. For more information, call Johnson at 815-517-0164.
