Genoa chamber seeking donations from businesses

The Genoa Chamber of Commerce is seeking donations for its annual Golf Outing Event, which is scheduled to take place July 17 at the Oak Club of Genoa. The event is attracting 144 local business owners in and around the Genoa-Kingston area. This event will be held in conjunction with the annual Chamber President’s Dinner.

The Genoa Chamber of Commerce was formed 53 years ago by an energetic, fun and community conscious group of business owners. Money raised through our golf outing will be used to fund the many community activities and programs sponsored by the Chamber throughout the year, such as Celebrate the Season, Genoa Days King & Queen Contest, Random Acts of Kindness Month and many others.

The donations will be used to assemble numerous raffle baskets with different themes. Some of the themes were Family Fun Time, Golfing Basket, Car Basket, etc. With that in mind, we are seeking any and all donations (of all shapes and sizes). I do hope that you will consider contributing to this event. Each item donated will be acknowledged along with your business name at the event and through the newspaper media.
