Kish College names new VP

Steve Ullrick has been named the vice president of student services at Kishwaukee College. Ullrick assumed his new position on May 18.

Ullrick holds an associate’s degree from Kirkwood Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Coe College and a master’s degree in educational administration from Western Illinois University. He comes to Kishwaukee from the University of Wisconsin-Rock County, where he served as assistant campus dean student services for the past three years.

Ullrick has worked in student services at Kirkwood Community College as an admissions adviser and at Coe College as the assistant dean for admissions and financial aid.

Ullrick was the director of admissions, records and placement at Sauk Valley Community College for several years and then served Rock Valley Community College as the director of admission and records, director of enrollment services and dean of student services.

As VP of student services, Ullrick will direct and oversee the Office of Admissions, Registration, and Records; the Counseling and Student Development Center; the Transfer Center; the Student Financial Aid Office; the Employment Resources Center; Center for Accessibility Resources; and the Early Childhood Center.
