Kirkland Fourth of July Festival: July 2-4. Crafters, flea marketers, and businesses can rent a booth for $65 (15-square feet) or $100 (15 x 30 feet). Call 815-547-6229.
Leland Town & Country Association sesquicentennial celebration: July 3-12. Crafters and other vendors are welcome at all events, but are especially needed during the carnival – 3-9 p.m. July 10 and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. July 11. Saturday’s focus is old-time crafts, such as quilting and candle making. Visit www.lelandil.org for a list of other events scheduled for the week. Crafters are responsible for their own set-up, including tables, tents, etc., and may keep all of their proceeds. There is no fee, but sign-up is required. 39th Annual Rockton Art and Craft Fair: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Aug. 16 at Village Green Park in Rockton. Hononegah Woman’s Club is seeking crafters for this juried show. Meadowlands Farm Scarecrow Fest: Oct. 3-4 in Newark. Inside and outside spaces for handmade crafts, homemade food, farmers market, and antiques will cost $50 to $75.
