Annual golf outing to raise funds for hospice
The 12th Annual Midge and Miles Underwood Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Aug. 7, with shotgun start at 1 p.m. at the Sycamore Park District Golf Course, for an 18-hole scramble format.
Prizes will be awarded, including a chance to win a car from Mike Mooney Chevrolet-Cadillac of DeKalb.
MUM tourney hole sponsorships are $100; foursomes can golf for $500 and individual golfers for $125. Registration of individual golfers and foursomes include a round of golf, use of a cart, a golf gift and dinner. Dinner-only tickets, for a steak and chicken dinner cost $30. The event also includes an open bar with margaritas, beer and wine.
MUM proceeds are donated to DeKalb County Hospice, which supports the many services offered to terminally ill patients and their families in DeKalb County. The MUM golf tournament and other fundraising events are critical to ensure that Hospice can continue to provide services for our community.
