New Web tool allows disability parking abuse to be reported online

Abuses of disability parking spaces and placards can now be reported through the Illinois secretary of state’s Web site, according to a news release from the secretary of state’s office.
When members of the public see able-bodied people using parking spaces or placards for people with a disability without the disabled person in the vehicle, they can report the violation by visiting www.cyberdriveillinois.com and clicking “Complaint Form Parking for Persons With Disabilities.” Reports can be anonymous, but must contain the license plate, disability placard or disability plate number.
