DeKalb Municipal Band announces next week’s guest musician

The DeKalb Municipal Band will feature the music of Gershwin, Strauss, Bernstein, Leroy Anderson, John Philip Sousa and more at its pops concert at 8 p.m. Tuesday in DeKalb’s Hopkins Park bandshell.

Band director Dee Palmer recently announced that vocalist Dalia Bach will be a guest performer. She will sing songs such as “Evergreen” and “Blues of the Night.”

These free concerts in the park are sponsored by the city of DeKalb and the DeKalb Park Distrcit. All are invited to attend.
