The Hampshire Lions 18th Annual Lions Club Golf Tournament will include a two-person Handicap Flight and a four person Scramble Flight. The entry fee is $100 per golfer, which includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, a prime rib dinner and prizes for everyone. Entry forms for the Handicap Flight must be sent by Monday with checks payable to Hampshire Lions Club, to Hampshire Lions Club, P.O. Box 415, Hampshire IL 60140, and must be complete with each partner’s handicap. Proceeds will help support Lions charities, which include aiding the blind, hard of hearing, underprivileged children, and other worthwhile community activities.

Fourth Annual Gerald Broski Memorial Golf benefit for Center for Sight & Hearing in Rockford: 11:30 a.m. June 29, starting with registration and box lunch and 1 p.m. shotgun start, at Forest Hills Country Club. Genoa chamber golf outing: 10:30 a.m. July 17, with check in, 11 a.m. lunch, noon shotgun start and 5:30 p.m. dinner buffet at the Oak Club of Genoa, 11770 Ellwood Greens Road. www.genoa-il-chamber ofcommerce.com. Cost is $80 per golfer, $320 for a foursome and $15 for dinner only. Deadline to sign up for golf is July 1 and for prize donation is July 8.

11th Annual Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra Golf Outing: 11:30 a.m. July 17, with lunch and registration and 1 p.m. shotgun start at Sycamore Golf Club, 940 East State St. in Sycamore. People can golf with Linc Smelser, the Illinois Council of Orchestras’ 2009 Conductor of the Year. Rates range from $115 for an individual golfer to $551 for the deluxe Beethoven Package for four, which includes golf, lunch and dinner. Special arrangements include golf contests, a 50/50 raffle and silent auction, supported by the generosity of local businesses and individuals. All proceeds benefit the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra, 2009 recipient of Community Orchestra of the Year by the Illinois Council of Orchestras. TAILS golf outing: 11:30 a.m. July 20 with check in, 1 p.m. shotgun start and 5:30 p.m. After-Party at Kishwaukee Country Club. www.tailshumanesociety.org. All proceeds of TAILS’ first golf outing will benefit TAILS Humane Society and the homeless pets of DeKalb County. People can register online and print a registration form and brochure. Fee is $150 per golfer and includes 18 holes of golf, cart, box lunch and goody bag. Fee for a foursome is $500. For a $20 donation, non-golfers can attend the After-Party, which will include hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, raffle, games and prizes.
