Marlyn Majorettes opens 2009 season

The Marlyn Majorettes and Majors Drum Corps of Sycamore will open its 2009 performance season at 8 p.m. Tuesday at DeKalb’s Hopkins Park with a “Flag Day Band Concert.”

The Marlyn Majors Color Guard flags will be featured in a special presentation as the band plays “Grand Old Flag.” The DeKalb Elks will salute the American flag, followed by the audience singing the “Star Spangled Banner.”
