Little Lambs graduation held May 21-22 in DeKalb

Little Lambs Preschool at Immanuel Lutheran Church in DeKalb held its preschool graduation ceremonies May 21-22. There was a jungle theme for graduation activities this year.

The children wore jungle-themed T-shirts and hats they made for themselves at preschool. Graduation began with the preschool children singing special songs for their parents. Each child received a special preschool graduation certificate.

Next was a review of the year in pictures, in the form of a Little Lambs Preschool slide show presentation.

Little Lambs Preschool is now registering students for the 2009-’10 school year. It offers classes for children age 3-5.

Classes meet from September through May. Little Lambs Preschool offers a quality education in a Christian setting, according to a recent news release.

Each day at Little Lambs Preschool consists of spiritual activities. There also is time for discovery, group work, worship, music, art, science, math, motor activities and snacks.

The 4-year-old program explores the alphabet, number recognition and emphasizes kindergarten readiness skills.
