Enrollment for Kish program Our Place open

MALTA – Enrollment is open for Our Place, a program at Kishwaukee College for young adults between 16 and 21 who have dropped out of high school.

Our Place includes basic math and reading classes, assistance in getting a GED, life skills, career assessment and planning, and counseling services. Child care is available on Mondays and Wednesdays through the Family Literacy Program for children from infancy through age 10 while their parents are in class.

The program is open 9-11:40 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays in Kishwaukee College Room U-139. The program has open enrollment; participants can join a class at any time.
