Summerfest seeks Grand Marshal nominations

Somonauk will celebrate its second Summerfest July 24-26, and has added a Saturday morning parade to the event lineup, according to the Summerfest Web site. The theme for this year's celebration is marking the 175th anniversary of the village.
Nominations are being accepted for Parade Grand Marshal. Nominations can be sent to Village of Somonauk, Attn: Summerfest, Dawn Siegler, 131 S. Depot St., Somonauk, IL 60552.
