RAMP recycles to raise money
RAMP is collecting used ink cartridges and personal electronics for a recycling drive through the Cartridges for Kids program, according to a news release.
Through the program, RAMP will receive a portion of the proceeds for recycling cell phones, laptops, PDAs, iPods, video game systems, video games, digital cameras and empty inkjet and laser cartridges. The items can be dropped off at RAMP offices in DeKalb, Belvidere, Rockford or Freeport.
RAMP is a nonprofit organization that advocates for people living with disabilities in DeKalb, Boone, Stephenson and Winnebago counties. For more information, call 815-968-7467.
