NIU's Davis waiting for his NFL call

This was the life of the last three days for former Northern Illinois tight end Brandon Davis while he competed at the Washington Redskins' mini-camp. Davis said he thought he did well in drills, and now waits for a phone call from either the Redskins or another NFL team. The Redskins have organized team activities in June and training camp starts at the end of July. “They didn't give us a time or a date but they said if they needed us they'll call,” Davis said. “For everything they threw out at us, once you pick it up you do well.
