Wilson off ballot in DeKalb's 5th Ward

DeKALB - There will be only one name on the ballot for 5th Ward alderman after a city electoral board ruled Friday that Gavin Wilson did not properly fill out the paperwork to be a candidate in the April 17 city elections. The board, made up of Mayor Frank Van Buer, Third Ward Alderman Steve Kapitan and City Clerk Donna Johnson, issued its decision Friday.
