Docudrama is ‘smear'

Luke Welch Editor: The media conglomerate, ABC/Disney, is planning to air a docudrama entitled &#8220The Path to 911.” This film is reported to be a blatant smear on Democrats, baselessly blaming Democrats for the 9/11 disaster. It claims to be based on the congressional 9/11 Commission reports but these claims are baseless. ABC/Disney is airing this program without charging the Republican party for the advertising time. This kind of propaganda, right before the elections, is a blatant subversion of the democratic process and cannot be ignored. As a citizen who shares ownership of the airwaves that ABC/Disney misuses to air propaganda, I would like to make a formal complaint and I would suggest that ABC/Disney's broadcast rights be removed. I believe in a democratic republic where both sides of an argument receive equal time, are discussed openly and voted on by the populous. When people are propagandized with one side of a story by a wealthy corporations that sits in Bush's camp, then democracy is a farce at best. Luke Welch Rochelle
