Floral designs bring spring with a worldwide theme

DeKALB - Sights, sounds and scents of spring will be all around those who attend the annual DeKalb, Sycamore Altrusa and Glidden Campus Florist's floral design show. If spring is in the air outside, it will be duplicated on the inside, but if winter still has a grip on the area, a breath of springtime will be brought by flowering plants and silk blossoms to the show at 7 p.m. April 6 at Egyptian Theatre. Doors open at 6 p.m. Ron Gilbertson will be the master floral commentator, bringing his witty remarks as in past years. Denny Vaupal again will accompany the show with tunes. The five designers have picked &#8220Around the World with Flowers” as the theme and will design many of their creations on the stage in front of the audience. &#8220
