Red wristbands help the Kishwaukee YMCA DeKALB - Thanks to Lance Armstrong, wristbands in support of charity are all the rage, and now the Kishwaukee Family YMCA is following in the path of the six-time Tour de France winner's foundation, which raises money for cancer research through the sale of the yellow wristbands. These red YMCA wristbands are being sold in conjunction with the YMCA's Strong Kids fund-raising campaign. The campaign will benefit the Y's financial assistance program for families and children who might not otherwise be able to afford to participate in Y activities.
