New health center addition named for generous couple; dedication is next Sunday

DeKALB - Howard and Mildred Eychaner and their family have long been supportive of the mission and service that Oak Crest DeKalb Area Retirement Center has provided for the aging people of the community. The generosity of the Eychaner family has made possible the latest addition that will serve residents in need of health care service. The Eychaners are known to many for their lifelong community involvement and specifically their dedication to Oak Crest over the past two decades. Howard served as the first president of the Oak Crest Board of Trustees, and the Eychaners have called Oak Crest their home since February 1997.
