SYCAMORE – Visitors to the Sycamore Public Library are invited to partake in a barbecue dinner Friday to help fund new library projects.
The dinner will run from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and will take place at Sycamore Veteran’s Home, 121 S. California St., Sycamore.
Tickets cost $15, although children ages 5 and younger can eat for free.
Country Store and Catering is providing the food, and its menu lists many staples such as barbecued chicken, rib tips, rotisserie pork, country-style baked beans, steakhouse potato salad, apple coleslaw, brownies and pie squares.
Those who simply want to visit and grab some food can employ carry-out options by calling in advance and driving up to the kitchen door within the alley adjacent to the club, according to a library news release.
A 50-50 raffle also will be available at the event.
Those interested can buy their
tickets at the custom relations desk inside Sycamore Public Library or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
