SYCAMORE – Sycamore police have released more information in connection with the body found Thursday evening in the 1600 block of DeKalb Avenue.

“Detectives determined that the body was that of a 38-year-old male whose last known residence was Maple Park,” according to the news release. “Preliminary results of the investigation did not reveal any signs of foul play, nor any indication the public was, or is, in any danger.”

Police were called at about 5:45 p.m. Thursday to a wooded area between McDonald’s and the Sycamore Meadows apartments on a report of a found body. Sycamore ambulance crews responded, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
