Northern Rehab Physical Therapy Specialists has named Brandon Clement the lead physical therapist at its Sandwich facility.

Clement has been part of the Northern Rehab team since 2008, beginning as a physical therapy technician while attending college at Northern Illinois University in the pre-physical therapy program.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2009 from NIU, and a doctorate in physical therapy in 2013. In 2017, he became board certified as an orthopedic specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and the American Physical Therapy Association.

Clement has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Illinois Physical Therapy Association since 2012, and he acts as an assembly representative for the North Central District of Illinois. Clement also serves as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students in NIU’s physical therapy program.

He enjoys treating a varied caseload, including sports and orthopedics, through the use of manual therapy and exercise.

“I am looking forward to working in the Sandwich community, treating patients there, and becoming involved in Sandwich and the surrounding area,” Clement said in a news release.

Growing up in nearby Elburn and currently residing in Maple Park, Clement appreciates being able to provide physical therapy in the community where he was raised and is accepting new patients at the Sandwich clinic. He also continues to treat patients at the firm’s DeKalb facility.
